Master Pools Guild

Riverbend Sandler Pools is proud to be a member of the Master Pools Guild, a global network of elite custom pool builders.  Membership is by invitation, and granted only to those builders who demonstrate superior design and construction standards, reliability, credibility and integrity.  They must be craftsmen, operating with a strong commitment to high quality, customer service and business ethics.  Generally, there is only one Master Pools builder in a geographic area.

Master Pools Guild members from across the U.S. and abroad meet several times a year to share the latest state-of-the-art knowledge about pool technology, creative design and pool products and materials.
Company founder, Charles Barnes, has served as past Board Chairman of the Master Pools Guild and past Board Member.

The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals

APSPThe Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) is the world's largest international trade association for the swimming pool, spa, and hot tub industry. As an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited standards developer, APSP works with regulatory and legislative bodies to ensure that their codes, ordinances, and legislation are written to the safest and most current standards. The association’s mission is to ensure consumer safety and enhance the business success of its members.

APSP offers a full range of services, resources, and professional development opportunities for its members. APSP members adhere to a code of business ethics and share a commitment to public health and safety. Its member companies include manufacturers, manufacturers' agents, distributors, designers, builders, installers, retailers, and service professionals.

The safe and enjoyable use of pools, spas, and hot tubs is a priority for APSP members. Each year, APSP members fund an extensive public service safety communications campaign. APSP water-safety messages reach more than 32 million U.S. households – an effort in which APSP members take pride. APSP provides the most complete information available anywhere to consumers about the benefits of ownership and responsible use of industry products, including maintenance and safety tips for pools, spas, and hot tubs, as well as finding a dealer, financing, and more.

Founded in 1956, APSP was formerly known as the National Spa & Pool Institute (NSPI).
